"We went away for Thanksgiving to Baha Mar in the Bahamas, and it was terrific. We stayed in a suite which had a full kitchen at the Grand Hyatt (one of the 3 hotels that are a part of Baha Mar). When we arrived at the airport, we went directly to an upscale supermarket, called Solomon's Fresh Market. It was 5 minutes from the airport (and about 20 minutes from the hotel). It was similar to Whole Foods and had many gluten free products and many of the same brands we have at home. I had spoken to Chef Brent, the Executive Chef of the Grand Hyatt, prior to our arrival, and he was amazing. Baha Mar is made up of 3 hotels and many restaurants, and Brent is the executive chef of the restaurants owned by the Hyatt. He told me the best restaurants that could accommodate our daughter's GF needs. We ate at 3 Tides (seafood), Cleo (Mediterranean), Katsuya (Japanese) and Shuang Ba (Chinese). Each restaurant was prepared for our arrival and was able to safely prepare GF meals for her in clean pans, etc. She truly loved all of the food and had zero issues! Having the kitchen in our suite was helpful, so I also filled in for lunch with our own food. I felt confident about how they handled her food and would definitely go here again!"
