My school has only a few dining halls, Ability to feed me varies significantly across dining halls, I have at least one safe dining hall, but avoid some dining halls, I have sufficient options at some of the dining halls, Ability to eat well was a critical part of my college selection process

Year 1: full unlimited meal plan. Year 2 fall semester: half refund on plan and pay by meal. Year 2 spring: TBD

I have worked with the nutritionist quite a bit and the disability office is aware

Favorite: Red Jacket. Avoid: Mary Jemison. Letchworth is ok, just limited

I have a kitchenette so i cook for myself. keep vegetables, rice, pre-cooked grilled chicken, and frozen foods in the mini fridge. granola bars are always great. bar eat o and Livingston county pizza co are good off campus options as well as wegmans
What do you recommend new students with food restrictions do before school starts? Or when they first arrive?
speak to a student at the school who has the same restrictions and learn the best tips
What's your advice on managing the party scene with your food restrictions?
Everyone does already, but bring your own drinks. everyone drinks seltzers anyway so you will fit in. don’t share drinks. bring an extra one cause you never know and it better to have options than nothing.

there are multiple places but since it is rural you do need a car cause not every place delivers. (mentioned top places above) rochester is only 25 minutes away and there are a ton of places there to eat
